Originally designed for the fast change over of hot cutting
wires on expanded polystyrene cutting frames, it is now
attracting attention from other industries where any wire -
round or flat - is needed to be locked firmly in place and
removed quickly when required.
There is NO need for wire end terminals or wire knotting, which
means greater strength wires can be used.
There is NO need to cut and pre-assemble wires to exact lengths.
There is NO need to repeatedly buy costly wire assemblies.
…and it fits most machines without need for modification.
A wire is simply inserted into the Hot Gripper and pulled
through until the desired length and tension are reached. The
wire can be re-tensioned in place or removed quickly by sliding
back the Hot Gripper’s outer sleeve.
